- The Portobello Bar Restaurant & Nightclub
Cuala Security has designed and installed a state of the art security and CCTV system at this well known establishment located at Portobello harbour in Dublin. The CCTV system is designed with the latest "Video Switch" digital recording technology and combines three different locations to a single user-friendly interface. The camera equipment located in the bar and lounge areas are discrete and non-intrusive to blend with the hotel's interior decor, yet of a very high quality so as to ensure excellent imaging in reduced lighting. Also, in the "Temptations" nightclub the high quality cameras are designed to work efficiently in low lux situations. "Sanyo" hi-resolution colour cameras are used in the enclosed areas of the hotel while vandal-resistant high profile cameras are used on the outside.

Cuala Security maintains the complete package of security installations at this exclusive Golf Course located in Powerscourt Gardens, Enniskerry in Co. Wicklow.
The CCTV system comprising of more than 25 cameras covers all the internal areas including two bars, reception area, shops and restaurant. All external areas are covered by vandal-resistant high-resolution colour cameras. Entrance and exit areas are protected by PIPs Day Night cameras that are specialised in number plate recognition technology. Image recording/playback is achieved with the use of two "SmartWatch" HDD digital recorders networked across the entire computer network. This allows live & recorded images to be viewed from any PC by those with the relevant access credentials.
The Access Control System covers other internal areas around the clubhouse as well as the main entrance and exit gates. The entrance and exit can be controlled via the following methods:
- By using a valid key fob or card;
- Via Intercom system incorporated into the internal telephone system;
- By coil and point-to-point detection on exit routes. This system is also available and controllable over the Computer Network on site.
The extensive security system in the entire complex is controlled by Aritech's CD95 uses the latest technology in security control. In addition, 24 by 7 monitoring, surveillance and key holding make this location safe and secured from every aspect.
- Lifestyle Sports
Cuala Security Services maintains a comprehensive access control system at Lifestyle Sports Head Office located in Santry, Dublin. Quite a few office buildings and a large number of staff within the complex demanded increased security to the entire region coupled with flexibility to grant or restrict access to individual office blocks. The system was designed with Access Control Technology's ACT1000 door controllers that control over twenty access points. Moreover the security system is connected to computer networks using ACTWins software to make the application accessible to any person with proper access authority, irrespective of the company's networked location.
